This was a crazy ride. I’m freaked out. I can’t wait to read Part 2! (I have a cave phobia, but I really like hearing about other people’s cave adventures lol)
Sounds amazing and if there's no tight spaces coming up, I could do it. But as I've developed claustrophobia later in life, I absolutely couldn't handle tight spaces.
This looks like an incredible experience, although probably not for me unless I can transport back about 40 years. 😄 The thought of wet feet for days does not thrill me either.
But seriously, These types of immersive experiences are incredible and will be remembered for years.
Thanks. It was so hot at times (more outside of the cave than in it) that my wet feet were a blessing. I thought my shoes were done for, but they cleaned up nicely in the washing machine.
I’m holding my breath…. Feeling both very tense for you and wondering how and why you ever booked this one. I am not slightly overwhelmed… I’m a wreck. Catch me up soon!!!!
Glad I have you on the edge of you seat. :) I booked the trek because in a world of somewhat same same experiences, this one is truly an adventure. More to come!
I know you found you answer in Notes, but for the record, you choose the picture icon at the top of the page and then "Add gallery." You can drag in up to twelve images, although I try to max it out at six.
Wow, looks like an awesome adventure. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for sharing. I cannot wait for part 2!

What an adventure. The photos are phenomenal and narrative was great. I was nervous reading it.

Hmmm.... so claustrophobia later in life is a thing? Guess it goes along with roller coasters now make me sick. Good times.
That happened to me quit a few years ago. Now car sickness is a thing too...
Car sickness is a bummer. Since we're making a list, I now usually wake up at 5 AM, no matter what time I go to bed.
Thankfully, my insomnia keeps that from being a problem. LOL
I’ve wanted to visit this cave since I first read an article about it years ago. Thanks for the immersive read!
Unlike anything I’ve ever done. If you want to go, make sure you plan ahead. Like way ahead. 🙂

How do you get Substack to display photos side by side? All I can ever do is one photo in the middle of the page, filling it.

Thanks. Book early! They are all sold out for this year already.
I’m scared just reading this but can’t wait for part 2!
Nothing to be scared of except for pitch blackness, bats, and steep rocky inclines. What could go wrong? 😉
I. Can’t. Even. lol!
